soil survey
So this week’s progress consists of digging a hole in the ground and sending soil samples to the county’s environmental department. The ultimate purpose of which is to obtain the elusive septic system permit, without which I can’t start construction. Fortunately, a couple permits have already been cut in the subdivision, so I’m not sweating whether the drainage will become an issue–it will be fine. Tonight I’m going to try to get out there and look at this hole in the ground, I haven’t seen yet what they did. Expect some pics of a hole soon if everything goes my way…
