information super driveway part 2
This weekend our excavator graded our driveway and laid down gravel. Since our building permit hasn’t been issued yet, that’s about all that we can do. It’s a small amount of progress, but it’s significant. It’s starting to feel like we’re building a house. It definitely looks like we’re building a house now.
The driveway goes straight back from the entrance 400 feet before taking a right turn into the (future) garage.
We’ll continue the drive straight back another 40 feet or so to lead up to the barn site. It took us a while to figure out all the layout, but a straight drive makes sense from about every angle I can think of.
