elevation drawing
We’ve gotten a number of drawings back from architect Jason, and there’s more revisions to be made, but here’s an elevation drawing that conveys pretty closely what we are going for.

I really like the shallow roof pitch a lot. The only things off this that we plan on changing are the front entry archway and the gable window (which looks like an expensive custom window). Cost constraints may prohibit a custom window. I may leave it in though, because it will become clear later how much slack is in my budget, and if I can have it, I like it as drawn.
We were supposed to meet tonight with architect Jason, but we postponed until Friday.

Looks great. It’s interesting that you like the shallow roof pitch, in So. California every house has a shallow roof pitch, so naturally I like a steep roof pitch. Plus you have more attic space.
Will you have a basement?
