back porch
We’re a bit out of sequence here, due to some technical difficulties I had with capturing photos off my camera. The framing is complete on the back porch. Some decorative details are not in place, but you get a sense now for the first time of how the back porch relates to the rear elevation, and breaks up the huge expanse of my south exterior wall. The back porch is roughly 14×15 feet, and build from cedar. It will be screened except the bottom two and a half to three feet of wall.

There will be a ceiling fan out there in the peak of the gable. Cedar plywood will get tacked to the inside faces of the rafters.
