A couple houses in our subdivision are complete, or very close. One other lot has a foundation on it. So we'll likely be the fourth house finished in the subdivision.

Our lots are numbered, with our property being lot 11. The finished houses are on lot 15, in the northeast corner, and lot 8, in the southwest. And lot 6 directly south of us is the one with a foundation. And the folks from 15 built a nice big barn, looks to be maybe 30x50 feet with an eight foot overhang.

I like that the garage doors open to the side of the lot rather than face the street. And I like the way the pillar details on the front get echoed in the window surrounds. Tough to see that in my street shot.

Their entrance is centered rather than at the side of the lot, which gives a little drama to the approach to the house, I like that. Again, no visible garage doors. The white paint color looks traditional, a bit refreshing really after endless suburban taupe and muted greens. They built up the grade near the house and have a walkout to the side.

It's hard to get a sense of this one yet. Trees obstruct the back view from our lot somewhat, and the slope of the lot makes it hard to see through the fence.
